Location: Adelaide Hall

250 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON

Adelaide Hall is located in the lower level of 250 Adelaide Street West. The entrance is through the alley next to 26 Duncan Street West (between Nelson St. & Adelaide St. West).

Adelaide Hall sits inside one of Toronto’s most fascinating music buildings. Long before it became the concert venue it is today, the space at 250 Adelaide Street West was home to the legendary CHUM Radio studios in the 1950s. From this very building, CHUM helped pioneer the Top 40 format and became one of the first stations in the world to play rock and roll around the clock, shaping the sound of Canadian music culture. Decades later, the same building transformed again into Limelight, one of Toronto’s most iconic nightclubs and a hub of the city’s underground music and dance scene throughout the 1990s. Today the space lives on as Adelaide Hall, continuing its legacy as a place where people gather for great music, unforgettable nights, and shared experiences. For us, getting married in a place with such a deep connection to Toronto’s music history feels especially meaningful, because music has always been such a big part of our lives together.
